Meis is fifteen, lives in the back of beyond and aspires to a grand and stirring life, but all that happens is the passing of the time, waiting for the next car to run into the front of the house. She dreams of a young car driver called 'Brad' whom she would like to take care of and maybe have sex with. Dad is waiting for the next driver to bring some heroism to his life again. Mom is waiting for the same moment, so they can permanently move to the city. Ever since dad was the first person that ran into the house, grandma cannot stop shaking. The shaking seems to worsen lately. Meis hopes this is a sign that something is bound to happen. During one of Meis' forbidden, dangerous nocturnal visits to the half bridge, deliverance finally arrives. Part of a trunk sticks out from the cloud of dust blowing from the house front. In the car, the solution incarnate lies, all crumpled up.

The film's artistic interpretation, based on direct and indirect police information about Vasil's stay in Roseville. Here for his honeymoon with his wife, he soon felt a strange presence in his nightmares and became paranoid while realizing he was predestined to come in Roseville right now. And when the other guests saw that Vasil changed, it was too late to leave. The entity which controlled Vasil just wanted victims.

Zürich in the mid-1950s: The young shy teacher Ernst Ostertag becomes a member of the gay organization Der Kreis. There he gets to know the transvestite star Röbi Rapp - and immediately falls head over heels in love with him. Röbi and Ernst live through the high point and the eventual decline of the organisation, which, in the whole Europe, is seen as the symbol of gay emancipation. Ernst finds himself torn between his "bourgeois" existence and his commitment to homosexuality, for Röbi it is about his first serious love relationship. A relationship which will last a lifetime. From the present, the film looks back to the time when the "Mother" of all European homosexual organisations had its high point until it fell apart. While the repression against homosexuals became increasingly more intense in Zurich, two young and very different men fight for their love and - together with their friends - for gay rights.

On the way home he knocks down a young boy severely injuring him. Toohey desperately fights to save the boys life until the ambulance arrives. Driven by fear he lies to the paramedics, claiming he found the boy on the road. But Toohey knows better than anyone where lies ultimately lead.
